Fire Safety Training Program at Our School

On October 19, 2025, our school had the important opportunity to host a fire safety training program conducted by the Fire and Rescue Department of Perungulam, Ramanathapuram District. This event was aimed at educating students and staff about fire prevention, emergency response, and safety measures.

The program started with an opening talk by the district’s fire safety officer, who explained the importance of fire safety awareness and proper evacuation procedures. Our school students actively participated in the demonstrations, learning how to use fire extinguishers, handle emergencies, and help others safely.

During the event, trained firefighters also demonstrated the proper use of life jackets and rescue equipment, providing practical knowledge that could be lifesaving in fire or water-related emergencies. The interactive session helped students gain confidence and a better understanding of how to act quickly and effectively in case of fire hazards.
